The RAISE project at the Science Day at Ioannina

On February 9th, the halls of Ioannina resonated with the buzz of young minds and the spirit of inquiry as Arsakeio schools participated in the “Science in action: Observe | Discuss | Act” event. It was a day dedicated to the exploration and celebration of science, where students from various schools gathered to dive into the world of scientific discovery.

Among the highlights was the RAISE Project presentation by the students of Arsakeio schools. With a compelling setup that combined live demonstrations and engaging discussions, they brought to the forefront the importance of environmental awareness and action.

The RAISE booth was a hive of activity, with interactive sessions that drew in a crowd of eager learners and educators alike. The virtual world created by RAISE was on display, showcasing how technology can be leveraged to foster an understanding of environmental issues in an immersive and interactive way.

Dressed in lab coats, the students from Arsakeio schools were the perfect ambassadors for the project, articulating the need for conservation and sustainable living through the lens of their virtual world experiences.
